Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor

Isn’t she just drop-dead gorgeous?
Hm… this is very hard for me as I don’t usually save pictures that make me sad.

This just makes me very upset and sad every time I see it. It’s just like I want to break the mirrors and make these girls listen to their bodies.
(edit: yeah, you should queue your drafts up in order to get them posted… being blonde today.)

b/c we look so happy and it was such an amazing day and oh my god, you can’t even understand how beautiful these cliffs are if you haven’t been there.
These two beauties do.

Dita von Teese + just about everything Monsieur Louboutin creates (for people new to my blog: the shoes! I’m crazy about Louboutins).
We make a living by what we get, we make a life by what we give.
(Sir Winston Churchill)
I’m not a big reader, but yeah… as with everything, I can’t narrow down one favourite.
fun read: Holly Would Dream by Karen Quinn
Love, fashion, Audrey Hepburn - and a big part of the plot playing on a luxury cruise liner. If you’re into movies of the 50s and 60s, you might want to take a look at this - it’s fun to search all the references!
feel-good read: Breakfast with Scot by Michael Downing
A perfectly adjusted gay couple has to take in Scot, an 11 year old who is “gay” in every way you could think of: he likes to sing, dance and possesses a pink singing hairbrush. Sweat novel about being gay, but mostly about being a family.
“philosophical” read: High Fidelity by Nick Hornby
Rob and Nora break up. As she moves out, he uses the opportunity to make a list of the 5 worst break-ups he had. (And she’s not even made it on that list. Bitch.) As he looks up and visits his former girlfriends, he realizes a few things about relationships and what it takes to keep your life afloat.
intellectual read: The Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka
Kafka is not everybody’s cup of tea, but this the only “old” novel that ever made me cry.
(edit: I queued this post and forgot to move it to the top :/)
That one’s easy. BONES!
The cast is adorable plus David Boreanaz is hot plus anthropology will ever be my true love.
just like the last post… there is no definite favourite. I own well over 150 movies and which one I like best depends on my mood. So here’s a selection:
All-time favourite: Surf’s Up [trailer] (best feel-good movie of all times! Penguin Love!)
Other very much loved movies:
- Pulp Fiction (classic :3)
- Little Miss Sunshine (adorable cast, great depth, funny, but thoughtful)
- 27 dresses (feel-good movie! can watch this over and over and over again.)
- P.S. I love you (feel-good! great cast, i adore hilary swank’s outfits and the shots of ireland are fantastic!)
- Breakfast at Tiffany’s (classic :3 and a must-have-seen)
- Love and other Desasters (great take on a modern Holly Golightly, drop-dead funny)
this. is. very. hard.
I never had a favourite song for long, there are just always songs that I like quite much, but they never last forever. Sometimes I happen to rediscover them and listen to them again for some time… but yeah. No definite favourite song.
Two songs I keep bouncing back to the most are:
Fall Out Boy - Bang the Doldrums (I don’t know why, but I’m deeply in love with the lyrics. This is a lovesong in my own way. Happily ever after below the waist. Genius.)
Howie Day - Collide (This is just so full of emotions for me. I love hearing this on a semi-cold autumn day when I walk through the streets and see the grass and the leafs gently blowing in the wind.)
Songs that are on constant replay at the moment:
Tiesto feat. C.C. Sheffield - Escape me
If you listened to all the songs, you will probably realize I’m a very torn person, musically speaking.
Enjoy nevertheless! :D
